About Us

A decade after the founding of Sakhara, in 2001, another company named "Ajianeh" was officially established by Mr. Amir Saman Mirzaei and Mr. Alireza Ghanbari. The distinct and powerful start of this emerging company ultimately intertwined the destinies of these two factories, leading to the formation of the "Sakhara & Ajianeh" company in 2008.

The combination of experience and heritage on one hand, and a forward-looking vision and desire for change on the other, led to the expansion of the factory and the addition of modern machinery to the production line two years later, in 2010.

In the same year, Sakhara & Ajianeh invested extensively in the Vihaj-4 quarry located in the Qorveh region of Kurdistan province, which resulted in the widespread popularity of this quarry's stone (Sayman) in the market.

In 2012, one of the most significant milestones in the company's history occurred: the decision to introduce "Sayman Stone" as one of its exclusive products; a stone that, upon entering the market, sparked a major transformation in the domestic stone industry and soon found its way to global markets.

With the increasing demand for products and the formation of export prospects in the company’s management plans, a new unit was created in the organizational structure. A year later, with the opening of the Sakhara & Ajianeh permanent showroom in the Shams Abad Industrial Zone, the connection between builders, architects, and the company's sales department was strengthened.

In 2017, a new path of growth emerged; a focus on effective communication with the engineering and construction community led to the launch of the Sakhara & Ajianeh permanent showroom in Tehran. The drive for expansion, achieving optimal production, and improving systemic thinking led the managers of Sakhara & Ajianeh to invest in the Vihaj-1 quarry in 2019, alongside the acquisition of the "Pir Baba Ali-3" quarry.

Reviewing the journey up to that point, it was clear that the beginning of a new century could not pass without transformation for this company. Thus, in 2021, serious research and development on the production of "Baaft" began, and just one year later, the production line for this brilliant product was launched.

In the same year, in an extraordinary initiative, a stone replica of the Shahyad Tower was crafted by hand from a single 25-ton block, intended to be unveiled at a ceremony—though national events at the time prevented its holding.

The year 2024 was marked by a historic event unprecedented in the stone industry: the hosting of the "About Azadi" symposium by Sakhara & Ajianeh. This event was held to honor the works left behind by great figures such as Mohammad Pourfathi, Hossein Amanat, Ghaffar Davarpanah, Ghanbar Rahimi, Iraj Haghighi, Ali Kamarhaei, and many other noble men.

During this ceremony, on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the University of Tehran's founding, the stone replica of the Azadi Tower was donated to the Faculty of Fine Arts.

The latest initiative of this factory is the production of a unique finish on certain stones, which, utilizing complex engineering and modern machinery, creates a creative texture on the stone surface. The "Rock" finish, which is considered a blend of industry and art, gives architects and builders the freedom to use stone not only as a durable and resistant element but also as a work of art.

Processing decorative and architectural stones, producing stone artifacts, executing hundreds of construction projects, and several permanent national landmarks—including the Gorgan Martyrs Memorial, the columns of the Academy of Arts, and the largest stone symbol of southern Iran, the "Persian Gulf Statue"—backed by an experienced team in design, preparation of comprehensive executive manuals, stone procurement, and execution, and ultimately providing a complete range of stone services to the engineering community, has been a significant part of Sakhara & Ajianeh's track record over these years.
