To trace the origins of Sakhara, one must travel back more than half a century; to the era when the late Ghaffar Davarpanah, the "Pioneer of Modern Stone Processing in Iran," provided the stone for iconic landmarks such as the Shahyad Tower (now Azadi Tower), the Mausoleum of Nader Shah Afshar, the Farah Stadium (now Takhti Stadium), the Ministry of Interior building, and the Diamond Cinema, driven by his profound love for Iran. With the onset of the Revolution, his activities in the stone industry were paused for a decade, but resumed upon his return to Iran. Throughout his professional career, he founded numerous factories, the last of which was the Sakhara factory; an establishment that later paved a new path in the Iranian stone industry, anchored in his intellectual legacy and extensive experience.
