The Dawn of Synergy
In ancient Iranian culture, a gift was a gesture of affection, a bond of hearts, and an invitation to endure in one another's memory—whether a golden coin, a crimson pomegranate, a fragrant flower, or any subtle token... Be it during Nowruz, Mehregan, the Flower Pot Festival, Yalda Night, or simply without occasion, all were meant to treasure each other's presence in our homes and hearts. Gift-giving is our ancient tradition to leave a mark of devotion in the life of another. Today, we remain steadfastly faithful to this heritage.
Our gift springs from the earth itself—a fragment of our land, a keepsake from the heart of nature. We borrowed stone from the depths of the earth, sculpting and refining it so that it may mirror our devotion within your halls. Embedded within this stone lies a message celebrating the union of roots and deep affection. Now, we proudly present this symbol, crafted as a monument of the Azadi (Shahyad) Tower, to the University of Tehran.
This is a tribute to honor knowledge, to extol wisdom and creativity, serving as a bridge between scholarship and practice, between intellect and industry. We firmly believe that industry without the backing of science remains rootless, and science detached from the pulse of practical application remains ineffective. They truly find meaning only in unison, and the future will stand firm upon the shoulders of this very synergy. This marks but the opening chapter of the story we shall write together.
